Thank you!
First of all let me extend a big “thank-you” to all those who have committed to being a part of the Outreach program! I
was so encouraged at the turn-out at our meeting Sunday to see that the vision of this ministry is catching on throughout
our church. I am excited to see what the Lord is going to do through this ministry and how it is going to impact all of us.
Ask God to begin to show you new ways to reach out to those around you; those you come in contact with everyday, but
also the stranger in line behind you at the gas station. Ask Him to open your eyes to the hurts and needs of our community,
to really see those around you with spiritual eyes and that we would have the courage to respond to those needs. When we
meet people on their level, in everyday situations, they are more receptive to our message. You don’t need to have all the
answers in order to reach out to someone. All you need is to be obedient when the Holy Spirit prompts you; if we’ll take
the first step, He’ll work on their hearts!
I know that God is going to bless all of you who have committed to the Outreach Team. Just as you can’t out-give God
monetarily, you also can’t out-give Him in service. As we begin to serve our community, God takes notice and we are
blessed as well!
